Cabinet Office recognises commitment to best value and aggregated working
DX Group (DX), the UK & Ireland’s leading independent mail, courier and secure logistics company, has been re-accredited to the Cabinet Office’s Buying Solutions Framework, following an intensive tender process.
The result, which sees DX continue to secure its place on the Postal Pan-Government Framework for a four year contract period, recognises the company’s capabilities in achieving best value and driving aggregated working (to work with other suppliers and departments as a collective
Under the framework, DX continues to be accredited as a supplier of postal services by the Cabinet Office. Available to all central and local government bodies, as well as charities, the Buying Solutions Framework is designed to deliver an efficient procurement process based on best value and nationally sourced services.
For DX, accreditation to the framework increases the business’ presence across the government procurement process, thanks to its existing position as an approved supplier on the Courier Logistics Pan-Government Framework.
A spokesperson for the Cabinet Office said: “The Buying Solutions Framework is designed to ensure that both local and government bodies have the option to benefit from the services of suppliers who are aligned to our objectives and driven by best value.”
“Potential suppliers take part in a series of capability tests to assess their suitability for the framework and DX scored highly across the board, proving its value to our departments.”
Paul Doble, Sales and Marketing Director for DX Group added: “We are delighted with our re-appointment to the Buying Solutions Framework. Achieving top scores for both our service specification and capabilities when judged by such a strict process pay testament to the efforts of the DX team as a whole in delivering our promises for all our customers.”
“We have worked closely with a variety of government departments in recent years and look forward to extending this presence to aid the public sector in achieving its core aims.”
The DX Group is also working closely with the newly formed Efficiency and Reform Group to ensure the efficiency of mail and courier services across government.
