SBE is part of a European company that was set up in 1987 and specialises in electronics and telecommunications.
The Challenge
SBE needed to deliver between 50 and 100 high value items every day. These items comprise individual handsets that are sent to private, residential addresses and boxes of handsets that are sent to distribution centres of SBE’s clients. SBE needed a secure, reliable and cost-effective delivery service to replace its previous one, which could not provide the levels of security and insurance needed to safeguard against potential losses and fraud.
The Solution
DX has provided a robust, yet flexible, solution via its DX Secure Mandatory Signature service. This competitively priced solution offers variable levels of insurance that are tailored to the number of items in transit. It has two next-day delivery options - pre-9am and pre-1pm - and will capture a signature at the point of delivery and provide a 100 per cent audit trail, where required. It will also accept changes to delivery addresses for next day delivery.
DX Secure Mandatory Signature gives real-time management information to SBE and enables its customers to track the progress of their delivery online. It also provides a high level of account management support, which enables SBE to closely monitor DX’s service levels on a daily basis.
